We believe coffee can also be freedom.
Coffee is life. Who doesn't love a perfectly roasted, piping hot cup of coffee at least four or five times a day? You may prepare it with an aeropress, pour over, or heaven forbid a coffee pot. But nothing tastes better than that first sip of coffee in the morning. It truly is life.
We believe coffee can also be freedom. Thousands of young girls and boys are sexually exploited and forced into prostitution right here in the United States on a daily basis. In fact, every year there are human trafficking cases prosecuted in all 50 states. That's why with a love for great coffee and a commitment to make a difference in our world, we've committed to sending 100% of the profits from Due North Coffee to fight this horrendous crime against humanity.
Two brothers, a tiny roasting shed, supportive wives, and we are going to change the world. We hope that you will join us in this adventure and know that you are not only buying coffee beans. You are buying freedom for a 12 year old girl who has never had a chance to live the life she deserves.
It makes that cup of coffee taste just a little bit better.
